Greg Pearson, M.D.
Dr. Pearson is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine. After completing a fellowship in dermatology at Mass General Hospital / Harvard in Boston he finished his residency training in dermatology at the University of Missouri.
He has been practicing dermatology in downtown Houston for the past several years prior to starting Memorial Dermatology in 2005. He practices general medical dermatology as well as surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Pearson takes skin cancer seriously. He has performed over 10,000 surgical skin cancer excisions. Dr. Pearson has performed skin cancer screenings for Houston organizations including: The Houston Astros, Duke Energy and the Shell Houston Open. He is a member of several professional organizations including: the American Academy of Dermatology, Houston Dermatological Society, Texas Dermatological Society and Harris County Medical Society. He is on staff at several Houston hospitals including: Memorial Hermann Memorial City, St. Luke's Community Medical Center and Christus St. Joseph.
Jessica Parsons, M.D.
Jessica Parsons, M.D. joined Memorial Dermatology in August 2006. She graduated with honors from both U.C. Berkeley and the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 1990. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and has been board certified by the American Board of Dermatology since 1994. After practicing in California for several years she lived in the Netherlands, where she became fluent in Dutch and volunteered in the Dermatology Department at the Medical University in Leiden.
Dr. Parsons is also conversant in French and Spanish. She practices general and cosmetic Dermatology. Her particular interests include patient education, skin cancer awareness and prevention, and skin conditions of both pediatric and geriatric patient populations. Dr. Parsons is a nationally certified injector of Botox and performs Restylane and Juvederm filler treatments for facial wrinkles, as well as sclerotherapy for leg veins.
Josie Pielop, M.D.
Dr. Josie Pielop joined Memorial Dermatology in September 2006. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine where she stayed to complete her internship and then her residency in Dermatology. After completing her residency at Baylor, she was asked to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology.
She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a recipient of the DeBakey Scholar Award, and is an active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. She practices medical and surgical dermatology.
Allison Metzinger, M.D.
Dr. Allison Metzinger joined Memorial Dermatology in September 2009. She is a native Houstonian and was raised in the Clear Lake area. After graduating from Rhodes College, she attended Baylor College of Medicine where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Metzinger completed her residency in Dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009 where she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of Dermatology.
Dr. Metzinger is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of several professional organizations including the Houston Dermatologic Society, Texas Dermatologic Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Harris County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Metzinger has been the author of several peer-reviewed journal publications. She practices General Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Cosmetic interests include Botox and fillers for facial rejuvenation as well as sclerotherapy for spider veins.
Sharon Kim, M.D.
Dr. Sharon Kim specializes in all aspects of dermatology including general, pediatric, laser and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Kim is an expert on skin cancer and dermatological surgery. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, earning high honors and multiple scholarships. Notably, she received the Endowed Presidential Scholarship twice and graduated as a Distinguished College Scholar. Dr. Kim received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine followed by Dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she served as the Chief Resident. She is happy to be a part of Memorial Dermatology and looks forward to taking care of your skin.
Kristin Sodolak, P.A.
Kristin Sodolak, Physician Assistant, is a native Houstonian and graduate of Stratford High School. She attended Texas A&M University in College Station where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in health, with honors. Ms. Sodolak then attended University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, with honors. She has been practicing as a PA since 2013. She enjoys both medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Ms. Sodolak has a special interest in Botox, fillers, IPL, lasers, Kybella and platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments for thinning hair. She is happy to be a part of Memorial Dermatology and looks forward to taking care of your skin.
